Jason Davis – Senior Advisor

Jason Davis is a Senior Advisor at Ulrich Investment Consultants. As Senior Advisor, Jason works closely with the Director of Native American Consulting to provide fiduciary advisory services to the Firm’s Tribal clients, along with consulting to Firm retirement plan clients and affluent individual and families. Jason plays an active role advising clients on investment matters and providing training and support to the tribal finance teams, investment and 401K committees. Jason began his career in the financial services industry in 2004 at Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking and Investment Group where he led his team’s efforts in offering investment assistance to Native American governments and Alaska Native Corporations.

In 2006, he joined a Washington State registered investment advisor that predominately served Native American governments. As Director of Research and Trading, Jason facilitated the firm’s investment research and due diligence, structured client portfolios, and lead the firm’s Capital Markets and Investment Committee. He was responsible for the firm’s portfolio reporting and overall monitoring of investments. Jason is from the northeastern corner of Montana where he lived on and near the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, home to two distinct American Indian nations, the Sioux and his Assiniboine. Jason has served as a Board Member and planned giving advisor with the Boys and Girls Club and as an advisor and fundraising leader for Childhaven, a charity that provides safe haven and childcare for abused and neglected children.

Jason has also served as Director of Hoopaholics, a non-profit that hosted adult amateur basketball camps and raised money for children’s charities and served as President of Redmond Select Boys Basketball. Jason holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Seattle Pacific University and an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Washington’s Executive School of Business where he focused on Venture Finance and Economics.
