Chris Frentzel – Vice President, Relationship Manager

Chris Frentzel is Vice President, Relationship Manager at Ulrich Investment Consultants. Chris services the Firm’s Taft-Hartley client relationships and oversees business development in this area. He also serves as a liaison between the firm and plan trustees and participants. Prior to joining Ulrich Investment Consultants, Chris served as business manager and financial secretary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #611. His earlier experience includes more than 23 years managing the Defined Benefit, 401(k), and Health and Welfare plans for his own and related unions. Chris’ experience makes him uniquely qualified to service the needs of Ulrich’s union clients.

From 2003 to 2010, Chris was appointed commissioner and chairman of the State of New Mexico Labor & Industrial Commission. He has also served as Vice President of the New Mexico Federation of Labor AFL-CIO, Vice President of the New Mexico Building and Construction Trades Council, Chairman of the New Mexico Electricians Retirement Benefit Fund, and the IBEW-NECA Southwestern Health and Benefit Fund, and was a Trustee for the Southwestern Line Constructors Joint Apprenticeship and Training.
