Mileah Frederick – Associate, Native American Consulting

Prior to working in Native American consulting, for many years Mileah worked in education, teaching all ages from children to adults in a variety of topics and settings.  She has spent the past several years working as an Administrative Assistant and Loan Partner in both the Finance and Mortgage Industries. She holds a Master’s in Teaching and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western Oregon University.

Mileah and her husband Isaac have two active and energetic boys, Eli and Micah. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to music, reading, and serving in ministry in a variety of ways.

John P. Ulrich, CFP® - President & CEO

John Ulrich is the Founder and President of Ulrich Investment Consultants, an independent, registered investment advisory firm. John’s vision was to create a consulting practice whose core focus is to deliver financial advisory services that adhere to the highest fiduciary standards to bring peace of mind and prosperity in the lives of the Firm’s clients. He has extensive experience in a wide range of investment disciplines and has served a variety of clientele, including affluent individuals and intergenerational families, public and private foundations and endowments, Native American governments and related entities, ERISA covered plans, and Taft–Hartley plans including health and welfare funds and defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

John began his career in the investment business in 1984 at Merrill Lynch. He then became a founding member of Medallion Investment Management Company, a New Mexico based investment advisory firm, which he later sold to Loomis Sayles. After working in the Pasadena and San Francisco offices of Loomis Sayles as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager, he returned to New Mexico in the late 1990s. He established a relationship with Callan Associates and began assembling a team of professionals in Albuquerque that formed the basis of Ulrich.

John’s strong commitment to community, family, and philanthropy is woven into the culture of Ulrich Investment Consultants. He has served on a multitude of foundation and endowment boards. He currently serves on the board of directors for NM Appleseed and New Mexico Health Connections.
John earned a BS in Business Administration from California State University East Bay. John has obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification. John enjoys cycling, fly fishing, travel, and spending time with his family.
